2010 NCWR Weim Gala

What can I say? The Nor Cal Weim Rescue's annual Weim Gala is truly one of my favorite events of the year! It's a wonderful group of people and dogs! This year the event was help at Trentadue Winery and was just spectacular. We were happy to see our donated photography session go for top dollar in the auction, helping to raise money for this great organization!

Priceless Penny

On a typical foggy San Francisco day I got to photograph Penny and her little buddy Ullee at Crissy Field. It's not hard to see why this is Penny's favorite place! Penny hasn't let her 13 years dampen her spirit, this sweet girl just loves her ball... and the water!

Dozer

What can I say?! To know him is to love him! Dozer's owner might not want to admit the soft spot he's got for this ol' Bulldog but as a pet photographer I am witness to a whole lotta love between human and pet and I have to admit, these two have a bond I rarely get to see.

Open House

I'm super excited that my photography will be decorating the walls of Dr. Rettig's new holistic veterinary practice! Join me at their Open House this Saturday from 10-1 in Lafayette! (I've donated a photo session for their door prizes!)

Bay to Barkers is here! Mark your calendars for this Sunday August 1st - We are one of many pet resource booths at this great event which helps raise funds for the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society! They need our help now more than ever due to a fire!!... We have donated a session to them as well as we will having our own raffle at the booth to raise a little extra for all those lovable critters in need of homes. Come have fun and help raise money for a good cause!

Photo Day at Alternatives for Animals

Anyone familiar with my photography knows how much I just LOVE pet abstracts and close ups! So you can imagine how happy I was to get a call from Dr. Rettig at Alternatives for Animals in Lafayette, asking me to decorate her walls with my photography. She also wanted the animals on the wall to be the of her practice,... so we held a photo day right there in the treatment room and got lots of fun shots! We're in the selection process now but soon my images will decorate the walls of her holistic practice. Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

Indigo knows just how lucky she is to have found her forever home with Crystal and C.J.! This shy 6 year old girl, rescued through Nor Cal Weim Rescue, is coming out of her shell nicely thanks to all the love and care in her new family.
